| The Vetus Achilles Bollards or "Samson Posts" are made
of the finest stainless steel quality (AISI 316) to withstand the rigors
of boat mooring duties in fresh or salt water. They are highly polished
and will impart an attractive appearance with a minimum of maintenance.
Bolt-on bollards come with a flanged base plate for mounting but may be
ordered without this to enable direct welding onto a steel deck. The direct
weld bollards come in similar sizes as the bolt-on but without the bolt
plate.
Vetus Achilles Bollards form a harmonious combination of a sturdy character
with a splendid finish. With working loads from 1365 lb to 5800 lb there's
an Achilles Bollard for most any size vessel.
