All Plastimo Transocean Life Rafts are designed for blue water use. These heavy-duty life rafts feature a double chamber construction, exclusive to Plastimo. The outer chamber is made from 1100 DECIEX PVC and the inner bladder of polyurethane. This provides exceptional resistance to perforations and abrasions. The upper and lower tubes are totally independent. The patented firing head requires minimal pull on the firing lanyard for easy inflation and deployment; even a child or injured adult could deploy the life raft. Plastimo Transocean Life Rafts incorporate deep ballast pockets (14.5 gallons each) for stability, drift prevention and strong anti-capsizing control in rough waters. The foam-coated double floor provides added protection against hypothermia. The automatic inflated canopy has reflective tape and a rain catching gutter. The large door is secured by Velcro closures. Raft includes an ISAF approved boarding ramp with inside grab handle and canopy ISAF 1 and 2 categories. Also includes a full greater-than-24-hour survival package.
All Plastimo life rafts include an 18-year warranty. They are the only manufacture in the industry to offer such a warranty. This is a testament to the manufacturing methods and quality of their life rafts. Warranty requires life raft to be serviced every three years at an authorized Plastimo service center around the world.
