Plastimo flexible water tanks are light and form-fitting and
can be installed where it is not possible to install a rigid tank.
They are a practical and low-cost solution to storing fresh water on your
boat. Plastimo flexible water tanks use a dual layer principle, allowing
the inner chamber to be easily removed for inspection and maintenance.

Patented water chamber and outer envelope
Plastimo water tanks utilize a non-porous, tasteless PVC inner bladder inside a tough
nylon envelope, providing a watertight tank which is resistant to
tearing and abrasion. The separate chambers allow the water tanks to be
flexible enough to adapt their shape during heavy pitching, and to remain
rigid enough not to burst under pressure. The water chamber is slightly
oversized, thus allowing the pressure to be exerted not directly on the
seams, but on the sides of the bladder itself. All seams are high-frequency
welded for top resistance and watertightness.
The outer PVC coated nylon features double seams on all sides, and protects
the water chamber from tearing and abrasion.

Standard Equipment
Tanks are shipped ready to
install, and include a 1 1/2" (38mm) inlet fitting on the upper side of
the tank and a 1/2" (12mm) outlet valve on the underside (except
triangular model 16658, where inlet and outlet are on the same side).
The positions of inlets and outlets can be swapped. They rotate
360º. Includes O-ring, screw-on
collar and webbing loops for securing the tank on all four corners.
