Muir Vertical Powered Windlasses
Where deck space is limited, vertical windlasses are the answer. The Muir
standard dual-direction motors provide power-up/power-down capability. A
manual mode (except on Marlin) delivers emergency backup (handle included).
Below-deck motors are compact yet powerful and require only small apertures
for installation. Muir has perfected the rope/chain combination windlass
with the development of the Rope/Chain Management System for smooth rope/chain
transition. They have also advanced the windlass ratchet system for controlled
manual override, and integrated complete units with swivel chain pipes onto
a single base. |
